I can honestly agree with that. It took me almost two years to let go of my first love who cheated on me and got the girl pregnant. My closest friends would tell me to get over it, but eh it's not that simple. I wish people would understand that once you give your heart to another being, receiving in the form you gave it to them usually doesn't work that way. And with loving someone you pose the threat of being hurt.
Yea I was in that situation with my first love and I thought she loved me for me but naw it didn't go that way and it took me about two years to get over her and now I am building a new relationship with someone else and I honestly care about this new girl in my life and I don't want to let her get away.
